The King is dead....

I have long held the opinion that bringing Ledley back whenever he is a little less injured is
bad for the team. Imagine yourself in Dawson's position, you come in, work really well then
next time you go to work your manager comes over and explains that the bloke who used to
do your job is actually better than you although he can't do the job full time, and if it's okay
with you he will do the job this time. How would you feel? I guess it depends on whether you
like the job! Just a thought.

  1. Tricky one this, as Ledley has been great for us. And the trouble is, he's fitter than most of our other CBs now! But football is about the future, not the past - something Spurs have long needed to realise.

Good to see you up and blogging Rob. Looking forward to the book. Say hi to Julie.

  2. He has great commitment and dedication, but while he is on/off we can't build the back line. We need to be more decisive with this and Keane, Bale, Bentley....hope something can be sorted in January.
